LVMUN

Honorable Delegates,

 

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the third session of the Latvian Model United Nations. LVMUN 2015 will be held from March 27th to March 29th at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Our dedicated Secretariat has already begun making conference preparations, and we look forward to welcoming you in Riga this March!
 

LVMUN is held in the beautiful city of Riga, in UNESCO protected neighbourhood, and you will be given an opportunity to explore it during our city tours. But the venue is not the only thing that makes LVMUN truly amazing. The conference helps to learn and improve negotiation, diplomacy, public speaking and leadership skills, as well as facilitates active learning about international relations, economics, international security and the United Nations.Hence, it does not mater whether you are interested in learning more or gaining skills, you will be able to do both in LVMUN. 

We are extremely proud that every year we manage to attract some of the best Chairs in Europe with significant Model UN experience in order to ensure the best possible experience for the delegates. We are also committed to making the conference enjoyable for everyone -  regardless of their MUN experience. Hence, we will be holding workshops for delegates who are attending an MUN conference for the first time or just want to improve their skills. 
 

Registration for LVMUN closes on 9th of February, and we will do the country assignments on rolling basis. Hence, whether you have attended dozens of Model UN  conferences or are participating for the first time, I strongly encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Till then, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
